Coca-Cola's sugar problem (?)

I read this article yesterday about Coke containing over a number of damaging substances, for example, sugar. The company denied this fact for 126 years.
The company admitted back in 1903 that Coca-Cola contained some amount of cocaine. I believe that's how Coca- Cola got it's name.
It is believed that drinking too much Coke can cause diabetes, heart problems and various other diseases. This popular drink contains calories and drinking too much Coca-Cola can make people obese. Obesity is a major problem nowadays all around the world.
Food labels are going to be introduced in this year which will indicate how healthy the food is but it's not confirmed if they will label the drinks, too. It would be good and helpful, if they would label somehow how healthy the drinks are.
Scientist, Robert Lustig warned us to turn our attention to sugar and that it's as dangerous as tobacco and alcohol.
